The Q&A Archives: Elephant Ears Transplantation in July

Question: I recently transplanted elephant ears to a different area. The sun was too much for them to take and they started to die. Should I cut the withered leaves down or leave them as is? Will they begin to sprout more leaves. Next year I am sure they will be fine but this year I am afraid it is too late. They usually grow 6-7 feet tall with HUGE leaves. Just beautiful as back to a plantbed.
