Answer: Slugs can hide in lawns but they usually don't feed on it. Instead they wait until nighttime and then go out and feed on your plants, returning to the lawn to hide during the day. There are several slug control products on the market. Ortho's Bug-geta will control the slugs. If you have pets or children who play on the lawn you might want to use a different product.
