I have pansys in a window box (with coconut liner) and when pruning I noticed 2 areas of soil erosion (mostly in the front). Should I replace the soil?

The soil is probably settling and you can certainly add more to fill in the holes. Moisten the potting soil first and then just spoon it into the holes. Then water as normal and the patches will blend right into the rest of the soil. Enjoy your window box garden!
