i have hostas. they keep getting holes in them and where something has been eating on them. i have purchased slug killer and several other critter killers but they continue to get holes in the leaves. what could be the problem ?? |
If you cannot find the critters munching on your hosta leaves I suspect you are dealing with slugs or snails. They feed at night so go out after dark with a flashlight to see if you can catch them in the act. If so, the iron based slug bait called Sluggo is quite efficient. There's nothing else I can recommend unless you find the suspect and have it identified. Best wishes with your hostas. |
