Planted silver dollar tree 1 week ago. Leaves at top shrivled and fell off. Soil is damp. Is our problem due to trauma of planting? Should we wait it out or trasplant to dryer area of the yard? Thanks for your help,
Kevin

Sounds like classic symptoms of transplant stress. Give your new tree a few more weeks to re-establish its root system and you should see it perk up and develop healthy new growth. There's not much else you need to do - just water deeply twice a week and wait for it to adjust to growing in your yard. Next spring you can do some pruning if necessary to remove any dead twigs, stems or branches. Best wishes with your new tree.
