The Q&A Archives: blooming hydrangeas?

Question: Over the past three years I have planted several Endless Summer hydrangeas in my garden. They are all in the same bed, with pretty much identical conditions. All seem to be healthy and growing well, However, only two are showing flower buds. These may be the oldest ones in the garden. Does it take hydrangeas a year or two to put their roots down before they bloom? I live in New Hampshire.
