| My salvias bloomed beautiful and are now losing their purple color. Should I trim them back yet as this is only the beginning of July? Thanks for your response. |
| You can deadhead your salvias but it can be tedious. Clip off the entire spent bloom just below where the flowers were, but don't completely remove the flowering stem - if you take more than just the spent bloom you will be giving up some flowers from the 1 or 2 flower stalks forming just below the original.
