I have 3 dwarf peach trees with some nice fruit. How do I keep the birds and chipmunks from getting the ripe fruit before I do?

You can try to scare the birds away by hanging shiny aluminum strips or pie plates in the trees, or you can cover the trees with nylon bird netting. Chipmunks won't be able to get through the bird netting if you secure it to the trunk of the tree. Wildlife can be pretty smart - good luck!
