Indoor plants should be in potting soil not in garden soil. If you use potting soil outdoors, then you can use the same product indoors. Check the package. It should indicate whether the product is designed to be incorporated into your garden soil or if it can be used in containers. If it says it is safe for houseplants, go ahead and use it indoors. If not, it would be best for your indoor plants if you invest in a good brand of houseplant potting soil.
