| Curling leaves can be caused by heat stress, water stress, insect feeding (aphids, leafrollers, etc.) Spider mites don't generally attack tomato plant leaves, but they can be controlled with applications of insecticidal soap. Or, you can just hose the undersides of the leaves off, opening them with one hand and directing water spray with the other to flush out any resident insects. Leaf curling should not affect the development of fruit or the production of healthy new leaves. Best wishes with your tomato plants! |
