What is the difference is an evergreen and a perennial. Last year we purchased some gold mound to pir up with our lorapethelum however, everything made it thur the winter except for the gold mound. Now my husdand want to switch the gold mound out for golden dewdrops. We live in central fl, will the switch work and come back next year? |
Perennials are plants that grow for 2 or more years. Some are evergreen and some are deciduous. Evergreen plants keep their foliage and deciduous plants lose their leaves during the winter months. If your gold mound didn't make it through the winter, you might want to replace it with golden dewdrops (Duranta). This plant will remain evergreen in the winter months. Best wishes with your garden. |
