Answer: Now that the soil is moist again, cut back on the watering or you will suffocate the roots. Soggy soils won't have any oxygen in them and the roots need oxygen as well as moisture. You can't see what's going on below the surface of the soil but I expect that the roots are rehydrated now and are building reserves so the tree can develop healthy new foliage. Water deeply once or twice a week and just be patient with your tree. If it wasn't too dehydrated it should perk up within a few weeks. Hope it recovers!
