The Q&A Archives: Bachias

Question: Are bachias OK to leave outside throughout the year? They would live in Northeastern PA, where it snows.

Answer: Dieffenbachia plants are frost tender and will not survive outdoors in your winter weather. They make suitable houseplants, though, so you can enjoy them outdoors during the summertime but you will need to take them indoors when the weather cools in the fall.
