I would like to try to find an indoor palm tree, does Home Depot have such plant and how would I take care of it?

There are lots of indoor palms and Home Depot carries many different kinds. My favorite is the Kentia Palm, also known as Paradise Palm. It is a fast-growing palm that thrives in low light conditions. For Kentia, or any other indoor palm the care is the same: During the winter months, keep the soil only slightly moist. In the summer, water more frequently, and make sure there are adequate drainage holes in the container; palms don't like wet feet. Avoid cold drafts, and mist the leaves occasionally to overcome the effects of dry, heated air during the winter months. Your palm will be happiest in average household temperatures during the day, and about 60F degrees at night. Other than the above, your palm is highly adaptable and should be attractive for many years.
