We planted corn this year, and had a few good ears. However, now they seem to be drying up. Did we plant too late in the season? Thanks for any help you can give us. Rose

You may have planted your corn too late. March or April are good months; August and September are your second opportunities to grow corn. Planting at these times will provide enough growing time for corn to mature priod to the dog days of summer.
