About the only organic approach to clover control is digging it up, roots and all. Clover is beneficial in that it is a legume and fixes nitrogen in the soil, but if you want a clover-free lawn, you will need to pull the plants along with their root systems. Or, if you're open to using chemicals, Ortho's Chickweed and Clover Control will take care of the problem. Applied at the correct dilution, this product will not harm grass but will take care of clover. Be sure to apply according to label directions.
