The leaves of my Day Lilies are turning yellow - is it a soil problem ????

It might be normal if, at the base of the daylily plant, the outer leaves which formed early in the year become yellow-brown. This is normal aging, and nothing to be concerned about. Simply cut them away from the plant if you find them unattractive.
