If your plants are not happy, dig them up and replant them after incorporating some compost or other organic matter into the planting bed. Organic matter will help loosen the soil and also help it drain quickly. Replant your acubas and then remember to water deeply once or twice a week during the summer months and only once a week during the rest of the year. Good luck with your acubas.
