All my Stella Doras bloomed but the flowers were 8-12 inches off the ground while the leaves were 18 -24 inches high. The flowers were partially hiden by the leaves. What causes this?

Thanks

If the plants are overcrowded, or don't get enough direct sunshine, the flowering stalks can be stunted. If your plants are crowded, dig and divide them in the fall or in the early spring. If they are not getting 6-8 hours of sunlight, you may want to move them to another spot in the garden. Aside from these two conditions, there's really no explaination! Good luck with your plants.
