I want to feed my lawn with Vigoro Ultra Turf fertilizer this weekend. The temperatures have been 92-98. Is that too hot to fertilize both tall fescue and St. Augustine grass (Moreno Valley, CA)? Thank you

It is too hot to apply fertilizer - unless there are a few cloudy days in the forecast you might want to wait until this fall to feed your lawn. Otherwise you risk burning your lawn. Check the small print on the fertilizer package for other cautions.
