I would like to plant a few bushes/perennials on a hill. The hill is somewhat steep and I already have 3 trees planted. What do you think will grow easily in the HOT Victorville, CA sun?
Thank you,
Lucy

You might consider some ornamental grasses for interest, or choose from the following drought resistant plants:

Acacia, Acalypha monostachya (Raspberry Fuzzies), Asparagus densiflorus cv. 'Sprengeri' (Sprenger Asparagus), Atriplex spp. (Saltbush), Baccharis pilularis
(Coyote Brush), Calylophus hartwegii v. fendleri (Sundrops), Dalea spp. (Indigo Bush), Eschscholzia mexicana (Mexican Gold Poppy), Gazania spp. (Gazania), Verbena
Lantana, Myoporum parvifolium (Myoporum_, Oenothera berlandieri (Mexican Evening Primrose). Good luck with your garden!
