I don't know what the stump removal solution recipe is in the magazine so I don't know how effective it might be. Stumps can be ground out to kill and remove them in one step. Products labeled for poison ivy and brush control can be painted in a strong solution onto cut surfaces of the trunk to help kill the plant. Many gardeners consider this as an opportunity to get creative. You can plant a flowering vine on the stump, use it as a platform for a sculpture or flower pot or bird bath, or you can improvise it into being the support for a pedestal table or a lawn umbrella or one end of a hammock. I hope this gives you some ideas. |
