The Q&A Archives: Planting new bulbs-Perennials

Question: When is the best time to plant new bulbs?
IS there any types of new plants that can be planted in the Summer?

Answer: Planting dates all depend upon the bulbs you want to grow. Summer blooming bulbs are typically planted in the spring; spring blooming bulbs are traditionally planted in the fall. Some exceptions are caladiums, which can be planted now. So, take your cue from the flower times of the bulbs you have and use the above as a guideline. Enjoy your garden.
