| If the mother aspen dies but the babies are doing okay can we cut the mother out without damaging the babies. The mothers are less than five feet tall at the moment. Thanks Gail |
| The little saplings might still be attached to the mom through the roots. I would simply cut the mom down at soil level. Good luck with your aspen trees. |
