Do columbines bloom more than once a season? We inherited some. They bloomed early in the spring. Not a color that we especially liked. If they are only going to bloom that one time we will probably find something else for that spot. |
Columbines (Aquilegia) bloom in spring or early summer. If you cut down the flowers and stalks, they'll bloom again. The second flush of flowers will be smaller than the first. The plants self-sow readily if you leave the old flower stalks on. Columbine flowers are attractive to hummingbirds. |
