Citrus trees can get by with very little water in your part of the country. The best approach is to make a basin or watering well beneath each and fill the basin, allow it to drain, then fill it a second time. In the hottest weather do this every 10 days. In the wintertime water them only every 3-4 weeks. Best wishes with your trees!
