My son put down weed b gone concetrate in May. It turn some patches in lawn like straw. We put down summer guard in early July. We still have brown patches. I want to know if I could put down Scotts e-z seed now. I understand this new e-z seed even grows over concrete. I don't think its an insect. Please help.

Scott's EZ seed will grow nearly anywhere so you can rake out the dead areas and sow the seeds. This is not the best time to overseed because of the weather but if you keep the areas moist by watering several times a day the seeds should sprout for you. Be careful not to allow the area to dry out while the seeds are germinating or they will wither up and die. Good luck with your lawn!
