With a compost tumbler after tumbling should the vents be positioned top and bottom or front and back? Thanks

Good question! If you set the tumbler with the vents on the top and the bottom, excess fluid/moisture can drip out. If you set the tumbler so the vents are front and back, you'll encourage cross ventilation, which can allow fresh air to enter. I'd vote for either way, with a mental note to set the vent at the bottom once every 7-10 days to allow excess moisture a place to drain. Good luck with your compost!
