I Have a cayenne pepper plant and a red chili pepper plant. There are many peppers growing, some quite large. They are still green. Do I pick them now or will they turn red on the plant? Thanks

They will turn red when they are mature and have developed full flavor. You can harvest a few before they turn red, but they won't have the same degree of heat. They will taste like peppers but won't be hot. I'd wait until they trun red and are fully mature before harvesting. It shouldn't be too much longer.
