My potted black raspberry bush has been growing beautifully but last week I found large round bites were taken out of the plant's otherwise healthy leaves. I put on a pair of gloves and searched the bush for signs of caterpillars, worms, beetles...I didn't find the culprit. What could be munching on my raspberry leaves and how can I get rid of them? |
Caterpillars are the likely culprits, but there's no sense in treating the plant if the enemy is gone. A few holes in the leaves won't hinder the production of berries, and since you're growing raspberries for the fruit, don't let the holey leaves concern you. |
