The Q&A Archives: Zinnia seeds

Question: What happens to zinnia seeds when they have not been planted in 1 or more years?

Answer: All seeds, when stored properly, will retain some viability for several years. Heat, light and moisture are the enemies of seed so if you store leftover zinnia seeds in a sealed jar in a cool, dark place, they should remain viable for about 3 years.
