Is this an annual or perennial? Is it more suitable for planting outside or is it a houseplant?

In your gardening region Tiger Eye Rudbeckia is an annual but it will self-sow and new plants will emerge in the garden each spring. It's an outdoor plant requiring full sunshine in order to bloom well. Plant yours outdoors in a sunny spot and enjoy the flowers. Prune away the spent flowers so more flowers will develop. At the end of summer allow some of the old flowers to remain on the plant so they can develop seeds. You can either collect the seeds to plant next spring or allow them to spill onto the ground and they will sprout next spring all by themselves. Enjoy!
