I received 2 petunias for Mothers day. I've been deadheading them as the wilt but now I'm left with dry almost leafless stems. What do I do now?

When you deadhead you should be pinching back the stem, not just removing the spent flower. Pinching the stems back will encourage healthy new stems and more flowers. Pinch the stems back now and you should see new growth in a few weeks. Enjoy!
