Harvest seeds - Knowledgebase Question

People say to remove spent blooms from a zinnia to help it look nice, but if you want to harvest th seeds what do you do to the plant?

If you want to save the seeds, let the flowers die on the stems. When the seeds have formed and the seed pod is a tannish color, cut the seed head from the plant and shake the seeds into a container to save for planting later.
