The Q&A Archives: Lemon Tree

Question: What does a lemon tree look like when it is growing? I planted some seeds and it seems they took but I want to make sure it isn't a weed.

Answer: A lemon tree seedling will have a single upright stem and longish ovate glossy green leaves. If you trim one of the leaves off and break it in half there will be a lemony fragrance. If in doubt, I'd leave it to grow. Enjoy your garden.
