Hi, I have a dwarf lemon tree and live in Phoenix, AZ. The tree was put into our yard a little over a year ago and has 3 drip emitters around it. We run the drips once a week on it for a total of 45 minutes. Is 45 minutes long enough? Since the weather has heated up the leaves have started to wrinkle and fade a bit. The new lemons growing on it also look as if they have come to a standstill.

It is extremely difficult to make a recommendation about watering because so much depends upon your soil type and, of course, the weather. Tree size also factors into the formula. So, rather than lead you astray, here's a comprehensive publication from Arizona State University which addresses all of the above and helps you determine, with the aid of a chart, just how much water your particular tree will need. http://www.ag.arizona.edu/pubs...

Hope you find it helpful.
