The Q&A Archives: a lil' help

Question: All of a sudden my mature tomato plants are getting yellow spots looking at the leaves from the top but they are brown spots from the underside. whats up?

Answer: Hmmm... could be either leaf mold (light yellowish areas on upper surface corresponds with olive-brown fungal masses on lower surface) or Powdery mildew (Leveillula) yellow lesions on the upper surface with a light powdery fungal sporulation on the lower surface. Ortho Multipurpose Fungicide or Fertilome Broad Spectrum Fungicide should help. Good luck with your tomatoes.
