Hello, my zucchini plants produce fruits but they glow only to 2-inch zucchini, then they start to rot. What do they need? Thank you very much. |
Poor pollination can result in fruit drop. Cool, rainy, windy weather can keep insects away, and very hot weather can render pollen sterile. So, if weather conditions have been extreme, the crop will be affected. A closely related problem, especially if the fruits are withering from the blossom end toward the stem, is blossom-end rot. This condition is caused by wide fluctuations between wet and dry soils. To prevent the problem, water deeply and mulch the soil surface to help retard evaporation. |
