We love the nicotiana - plenty of flowers - easy to grow. We have a light pink, what other colors are available?

Most gardeners fall in love with nicotianas once they've tried them, and with good reason. You'll be glad to know there are more colors available. Nicotiana seeds and plants are usually sold as a mixture, such as "Sensation Mix" or "Nicki Mix" and include scarlet, creamy white, and many shades of pink in between. There will occasionally also be a near chartreuse and in some of the older strains, very rarely a color near that of chocolate! Some of these are fragrant and some are not. There are also other types of nicotiana, such as N. sylvestris or "flowering tobacco" which is very fragrant at night, and always pure white. These are much larger plants, however, and so less decorative than the smaller mixes.
