Our yard is over run with strawberry plants from a previous owner. How do we rid areas of these plants? They are everywhere! Thanks

Strawberry plants are easy to dig - I'd pop them out, roots and all, just like dandelions. Failing that, Round Up will kill the plants but it is a contact herbicide and will kill everything else, as well. You might be able to spot treat the strawberries without doing too much damage to the other plants and lawn in the area. Wish I had a better solution!
