| I planted new roses in the spring, they all bloomed and were nice, now we the heat all the new roses are dying( leaves turning brown )some are completly dead |
| Roses grow well in Arizona but they suspend their growth and flowering during the hot summer months. I'd leave the plants alone for now. As long as they are watered regularly, roses will take the heat and the blazing sun (although you should expect some leaf scorch). They usually stop growing and flowering during the months of July and August, but begin to grow again in September. When the weather cools in September, prune them back to encourage healthy new growth and they should flower for you all through the fall, winter and spring months. |
