In my bulb garden I have more weeds then flowers. How do I control the weeds. I looked at mulch and most said not for new gardens or something to that effect. I am out there every week removing a bunch of weeds. Thank you so much for you assistance past and present!

If your bulbs are already up and growing you may need to pull the weeds and then cover over the soil with folded newspapers, cardboard or weed control fabric to keep light from the soil surface. Weed seeds germinate in moist soils in the presence of light. So, keeping sunlight from the surface will keep weed seeds from germinating. If your bulbs have only been recently planted and won't sprout until spring you can cover over the entire bed with weed barrie landscape fabric, removing it this winter before your bulbs sprout (and weeds are not actively growing). Hope this information helps.
