I have planted the common green head cabbage variety and getting huge leaves with no cabbage heads forming, what do I need to do??

Cabbage prefers to grow in cooler weather but yours may still have a chance to form heads. If not, you might want to replant in late August so the heads can form in the cooler months of September and October. There's not much else you can do to encourage head formation. Plant maturity and the right weather conditions, and your cabbages will form heads. Hope it's soon!
