I have an area about 10 feet long and 3 feet wide near my front door that gets absolutely no direct sun but I want to plant something there. Any suggestions?

Some great perennials for shady sites include Clivia (Kaffir lily), Digitalis (Foxglove), Oxalis (Wood sorrel), Agapanthus (Lily of the Nile), Campanula (Bellflower), Helleborus, Cyclamen, hosta, and ferns of all kinds. You can fill in with shade loving annuals such as lobelia, impatiens, fuchsias and baby's tears. Enjoy your garden.
