| Lots of sunshine and adequate water are about all pumpkins need to thrive. For best growth, prepare the soil by incorporating compost, start the seeds early in the season - pumpkins take a long time to grow! Feed with balanced fertilizer and water often enough to keep the vines growing and flowering. It's a little late to start growing pumpkins this year but you can grow them next spring for harvest in the fall. |
