I planted several planters of moss roses and put them on the front porch. My chickens (one in particular) has eaten all of them. They haven't touched any of my other plants. I know the solution is to keep them out of the yard but have you heard of this?

Thank you.

No, I've never heard of chickens especially liking moss rose! My only guess is that these are succulent plants with fleshy leaves which might contain a higher level of salt than the leaves of other plants. Or, maybe they taste like something your chicken really likes (do chickens even have taste buds??) I think I would replant and then make hoops out of chicken wire to set over the tops of the planters. Hope this helps!
