I have a painted daisy plant that is pretty when it blooms but short-lived. Is there any way I can get it to bloom longer or again. Also, when is the best time to transplant it? Thanks.

Painted daisies normally bloom from mid spring to mid summer. It flowers best in cooler weather. That's why it stops blooming in mid summer. You can't prolong their bloom period but you can sometimes promote a flush of blooms in the fall if you cut off the spent blooms as they appear in the spring and summer. Best wishes with your painted daisies.
