The front yard of my new home has red clay dirt. The previous owner told me she couldn't get any grass to grow. I need HELP!

Actually, you can get grass to grow in your red clay, but it will take a little extra preparation. The University of Georgia has an 18 page publication with terrific info on turfgrass types best suited to your region, along with soil preparation tips.
