I come from Louisiana where gardening is year round. What vegetables are best suited for a fall garden in my climate?

You've got plenty of time to harvest crops of bush beans, broccoli, cabbage, brussels sprouts, cauliflower, cukes, turnips, beets, lettuce, spinach. I suggest that you call Southern Exposure Seed Exchange (ph# 804/973-4703) for a copy of their catalog, which includes a planting calendar for the Mid-Atlantic states. It's a marvelous resource! Enjoy your autumn gardening!
