The Q&A Archives: grow concord grapes in container

Question: I just brought a small concord grape vine. I was wondering if I can plant it in a contain first.

Answer: You can grow your grapevine in a large container for a year or two, or even in a half whiskey barrel for 4-5 years, but eventually you'll want to plant it in the ground so you can train it for the best grape production. Enjoy!
